Hello and welcome to Let's Make a Music, the podcast that pulls back the curtain on the songwriting process.

I'm Laura Catherine Gilbert.

I'm Brian David Gilbert.

And I'm Karen Hahn.

We are on the hardest of the songs for an EP, the penultimate song of the album.

And obviously we don't need to like worry about wrapping it up this time.

But similar to how Thursday in a week of days, Thursday can either feel like the most exciting

day because you're almost to Friday or can feel like, oh my God, I'm four days into the week,

right?

That's how I'm feeling about this, this current

episode for this album. I've told this to Brian, Laura, I don't know if I've told you this

before, but my mom's favorite day of the week is Thursday, specifically for that reason where

she's like, it's right about to be the weekend. Like, it's like almost like, it's the lead in. So yeah, it counts as part of that.
