Welcome to another episode of Why Are You Laughing, a history of comedy podcast coming

to you live from the vaulted podcast studios in Patucket, Rhode Island.

And today I'm pleased to introduce you to the original Kings of Comedy.

This is one that's been requested a lot.

So I wanted to get to it.

And the way I think we're going to do it is, you know, we'll talk about the tour itself and the film itself a little bit.

But I think a better way to do it is just talk about the four guys involved,

Bernie Mac, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, and Steve Harvey,

just kind of as individuals. So it'll be a little more of an abridged version of their

careers. You kind of like we did with Otto and George and Bob Levy and Rich Voss, where we'll

talk about all their careers and a shorter version than we would if they had a whole episode.

And the reason I kind of did it that way is because I started doing just a Bernie Mac episode.

And while I like Bernie Mac, there wasn't, I didn't feel like it warranted a full episode.
