But my guest today says that there's a third option that's been largely ignored. And today we're going to discuss why adoption rarely shows up in cultural conversations about pregnancy and how the Dobbs decision has really changed the landscape and why modern adoption

looks very different than most people imagine. Joining me today is Terry Marcroft. She is the founder

I want to talk about this because we just watched a message about adoption.

We watched the Super Bowl ad that lots and lots of people saw.

It was such a beautiful thing.

When you see something like that breaking into a cultural conversation, what goes through your

mind? The truth about how both sides are yelling and screaming at each other and that

unfortunate woman facing the unplanned pregnancy is caught there in the middle. So it's no wonder

that she thinks she has to choose between those two

sides and that she's overwhelmed also by the noise and just the lack of straightforward,

truthful, graceful information. Yeah, it's really true. You obviously have a heart for this

ministry and a heart for adoption. Where did it come from? Tell me a little bit about your story.

Well, after my husband and I had been trying for a couple of years to start our family,

we were, we turned to adoption and we were so blessed to be able to adopt a newborn baby,

and this is in Northern California, so that makes it extra surprising. But we were able to

adopt, and this was back in 1999, and our adoption story just led to an amazing and surprising
