Ambition is great but can potentially be a double-edged sword if it is not balanced out. While having the drive to go after something you want is incredible, if it goes unchecked it can lead to things like anxiety, burnout, and self-deprecating behaviors. Every ounce of ambition you have needs to be balanced out with an equal amount of patience. Truly practicing patience will not only prevent those harmful side-effects of ambition, but it will also give you the safe-net needed to actually reach all your goals in a practical way.
