Just had kindergarten graduation. Did you have a kindergarten graduation? I did not. We did. I went to Florence Christian School. We had a little kindergarten graduation. And a sixth grade ceremony and then the big graduation at grade 12. But anyway, this isn't about me. This is about Brynn and Lane writes from Florida. I've been listening to you since I was in college 2004ish and my husband and I even met you at the show when we came by the studio one morning in October of 2017. Brynn heard the jingle the other day and ask if she could sing it so we decided to send it in. Love letters to Kelly is my absolute favorite podcast. Yay. And I look forward to Wednesdays for each new episode.

Yeah, we moved that was weird Because everyone my school I went to a really small school K through 12 was in one school Yeah, and then I went to another school and it was was weird was I was still so far ahead and when I got, I had to go on my own little learning area.

1:46.0

Yeah. Yeah. It's like, no, you've already learned the blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, I went kindergarten first grade. Well, kindergarten was like a private little thing in the neighborhood. And then first grade, I went to public school. And then I transferred to Florence Christian School, which is the school run by my church. And the difference was basically with Florida

Christian school, you had to have Bible classes

and memorize Bible verses, and that was something I wasn't used to. And so I remember that was a bit of a struggle for me getting used to that dynamic. And we had to learn, I forget what is called the catechism or something like that. Is that a Catholic thing? We learned something along those lines where it was something you cited. And I remember one time I didn't do what I was supposed to do and my teacher, Ms. Smith, won to Smith. I'll never forget it. We started the year with, we'll say, five gold stars. Remember, this is a long time ago.

2:45.4

This is second grade and I'm a lot older now.

2:47.8

But I remember we had, we didn't earn gold stars, but they were there to lose. You could lose gold stars. And I remember I did something I wasn't supposed to do. And I cried and pitched such a fit until she gave me my star back. Wow. And that's when I learned the power that the power that I possessed in sticking to my

guns.

3:09.1

This quicky will got the oil. The power of pounding. And little did Miss Smith know she ruined me for the rest of my life and turned me into the radio personality I am today. There you go. Anyway, thank you to all the teachers out there. We really do love and appreciate you. And thank you for everyone that wrote a letter today.

Like I didn't fix the problem or they're just giving us an update. I think a little above. If it's gonna make me feel bad, let's save it for the end. Sounds good. uh...
