I feel like this first draft of my portal fantasy sequel Dreambreaker is taking me forever to write. Not that I'm not enjoying it. I'm enjoying

every minute. But I just feel like everything's in slow mow as I'm just now coming up on the

first pinch point at the 3-eats mark. It's not that I'm not making steady progress, but part of it is because of the time I took off last month and part of it is just that epic fantasy is so epicly long.

No wonder it's taking Pat Rothvus years to finish. fantasy is so epically long.

to finish the King Killer Chronicles.

Ideally, I would like to finish

before the end of the year so I can focus fully

on prepping my historical superhero novel Wayfair for publication next year, but realistically

I know that it's not going to happen and I'll just have to juggle both books next year,

which isn't uncommon for me. Anyway not complaining but that's my

prevailing writing thought for the week. And now I hope you enjoyed this
