a monograph is an academic book that is meant to get you a pay raise when you're in the academy.

That's a joke here. But I don't need to do that in terms of a not in the academy, but it's meant to demonstrate. It's like a second, third, fourth, PhD type of stuff. So this is like long overdue. It is a book on one of the trends of Islam that everyone of you is aware of. I used to be involved with, and it's an academic book. It's not a polemic, it's not an emotional rant. It's a very detailed study of the trend known as Salafism. Al-Hahah, 600 pages. It took me a solid eight years to write, not because I was doing it full-time, but because I was busy doing other things. But al-Hamda-Lah, finally it is out, and I'm very, very happy and humbled at this. So if you are interested, you can pre-order on Amazon just to find the book name, understanding

seraphism, seeking the path of the past predecessors.

I'm fairly confident, inshallah, I hope this doesn't come across as boastful, that it will sell out pretty soon.

for the first edition is not as much as they're used to because they don't, my book sell

out more than academic books usually do, so the printing is not that high from this publisher,
