Her aunties’ voice messages sound like robots. Weird. Are they real, or is this some kind of futuristic family takeover? Either way, orders must be delivered. With Hat flapping by her side, Ruby sets off on her delivery run, feeling very professional until she makes one tiny decision that changes everything.
Because instead of taking the long, safe way to Aunty Dan & Aunty Stacey's house, Ruby and Hat decide to take a shortcut. A brilliant plan, right? Wrong.
Now, they’re stuck in the Bog of Doom—a mud-filled, squelchy, can’t-get-out, maybe-lost-forever type of situation. With no GPS, no backup, and definitely no snacks, Ruby and Hat must think fast, problem-solve, and somehow escape before they become permanent bog creatures.
