The gospel message is that if you will expose your sin to Jesus, if you will just expose it in all its ugliness and all its messed upness and dysfunctionality, if you will just expose it, he will receive and forgive you.

If you keep it covered, you're on your own.

And in many ways, that is true, but God's grace kind of throws that whole system aside,

none of us would have any hope apart from Jesus.
