Welcome back. How are you?

I'm very good. You guys must get up early to have that much energy.

We do get up early. This book is great, Gareth.

Yeah, because it's an autobiography and it's not an autobiography. It's a football book and it's not a football book, but it's definitely a book.

And you wrote it. Deering Lessons in Leadership, Gareth Southgate.

And so the format of the book is it is very autobiographical, and then it's lessons that you learned via the stories that you tell, and then that we can learn from as well.

Yeah. Look, I've been very conscious of leadership, of things that have happened during my life that I think could help other people.

So I didn't want to write a memoir.

I didn't want to be telling stories about players and what went behind the scenes.

But as I've travelled around, I get asked very similar questions,

every business I go to, every school I go to,

and try to capture all of that in one place.
