It was a bit of a strange show today. We had a lot of technical gremlins back in the studio in central London.

In fact, we could only complete two hours of the show to allow him to reset the system so Goughie and Adrian could bring your drive at 4.

But we've still got a few bits.

an author in lockdown. He shared a few stories with us. We heard from Dance again, Striker,

the fantastic series, Steve Bruce's Murder Mystery. We had a bit of a chat at the top of the show. And Stuart Pike, the commentator, told us how he's gone viral. So here it all is.

Good afternoon, Paul. Good afternoon, everybody. And yes, I'll venture to keep going as long as I can.

But it is a bit tricky when you keep dropping off. But first, I'll start with Liverpool, actually.

And they've been forced into, as we know, a humiliating U-turn, the Charlie White tells us, on their decision to furlough 200 non-playing staff.

This is the bit that got me.

Club owners, FSG and CEO Peter Moore were taken aback by the massive backmash.

When they really taken a back?

They can't have been, could they?

That's not their words, to be fair.

It's the words of a journalist, but we did sort of, we did put it out there yesterday. We were speaking to Henry Winter,

and we did say at the end of our chat with him,

do you think there could be a bit of a reverse ferret here?

Now the pressure, of course, builds on Tottenham.

It's interesting that the pressure's built on. It doesn't seem to be massively building on Newcastle,

a big club in their own right.
