Summary

Jesus, the Good Shepherd, is so committed to caring for us, His sheep, that He was willing to lay down His life for us. Have you ever stopped to consider that as He told this story to the Pharisees, He knew that the suffering He would endure on the cross was coming? Not only that, but He also knew the resurrection was coming and that redemption would then be available to all. That is some really good news from the Good Shepherd.
