So before we go into today's episode, I wanted to talk a little bit about Pride Month.

June is Pride Month and we are at the end of it, but that doesn't mean that our education stops

here, that our learning stops here, and so much more. June is Pride Month. When the world's LGBTQ

community comes together to celebrate the freedom to be themselves, Pride gatherings are rooted

in a history of minority groups who have struggled for decades to overcome prejudice

and be accepted for who they are. The original organizers chose this month to pay homage to the

Stonewall uprising in June of 1969 in New York City, which helped spark the modern gay rights

movement and most Pride events take place every year in June, although some cities hold their
