0:23.1

get real, because we are all in this digital space together. All right, everyone, welcome back. Today we are in for an absolute treat. We're going to be talking about navigating through life changes, relationships, toxic cycles, and everything in between. To be honest, I don't even know what we're going to talk about. We're going to get into it. Please welcome Brittany Newell to the show. Thank you so much for coming. Tell us a little bit

about yourself. To be honest, I read your bio and I was like, no, I can't tell this story. You go ahead.

1:01.5

I would love for you to share a little bit about you and what you do, which speaks volumes into how

1:07.0

excited I am to have you here today. Absolutely. Yeah. So I am by trade a licensed clinician,

1:13.8

so I do mental health. I have been licensed since 2014, and I started my career off doing,

1:19.9

units with women, teaching them different things about themselves,

1:45.3

about their emotions, how to communicate, how to make better life decisions.

1:49.8

And so my entire career has always been centered around crisis and trauma and helping people

1:55.7

navigate those situations.

1:57.0

2:15.6

driver's seat of their lives. And I was able to resonate with where they were coming from because I was definitely someone who always said I played life by the rules. I was the person who was like, okay, they say go to school, get a good job, graduate. Like I just check the boxes. And then you check the boxes and you look up one day and you're like, I don't like this life. Now what? So what do you do when you've done everything you were supposed to do and you're still not happy? And so I found myself in that place and it took me navigating and learning how to find my voice, how to make my own decisions, even if it made someone else mad. How do I communicate what I really want instead of trying to please other people and take
