And now here's Andrew welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the gospel truth today I'm continuing a series that I've entitled the old man is

dead and I tell you I am really enjoying this I've got teaching this. I've mentioned it often. And when I

taught through this book on Romans, Paul's masterpiece on grace, all of this teaching was in there,

but not in the form that I'm doing it now. The Lord woke me up early in the morning and told me that I needed

to take this teaching about the old man being dead and just focus on it because it can get lost

in the whole teaching on the book of Romans. And so this is what I've been doing. So this is now my

seventh program and I'm going to continue not only through this week, but into the next week.

And we're talking about our old sin nature is dead.

And this is something that most people do not understand.

Most people believe that their sin nature is still intact because they recognize that they have this lust or temptation

towards sin and they just assume it's their sin nature. That's who they are and they have a desire

to sin because they are a sinner. But what I've been sharing from all of these verses is that when

you get born again,

you, the Lord, took out your old sin nature.

It died with him.

And I'm summarizing some of the verses that we've already covered.

But you died with Christ to that old sin nature.

You do not have a sin nature anymore.

The only reason that we still have a propensity to sin is because we haven't renewed our mind.
