Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm going to continue my series that I started last week talking about the Old Man is Dead.

I've got a brand new teaching out on this and I tell you this is powerful.

I've got teaching on the Book of Romans. This is a book over 400 pages that I taught through this on television for months last year.

And the teaching about Romans chapter 6 about your Old Man being dead is in here but in a sense it's kind of buried.

It's hidden in here because there's just so much material.

And the Lord specifically spoke to me and told me that I need to just take this teaching on the Old Man being dead and just make a teaching on it specifically so that people could focus on it and get it.

So that's what I've been doing. This is the beginning of my sixth day of teaching and so far I've covered Romans chapter 6 verse 1 through 12 in five days.

And I tell you we've covered a lot of powerful things. This is some of the most foundational, liberating things that you could ever learn.

And I'm not saying that because it's my teaching. It's just truth. And I really encourage you, you need to get this.

So please get this new teaching that we've got. I believe it really be a blessing.

So I ended with verse 12, Romans 6, 12. Let me just read that it says, let not sin therefore rain in your mortal body that you should obey it in the less thereof.

Notice the word therefore anytime you see the word therefore in scripture you need to stop and see what it's therefore.

It's dependent upon all of the things and what he'd been saying in this chapter up until this point is that your old sinful nature is dead.

And it doesn't die and resurrect every day and you got to just die to it over and over and over. It's dead. It's gone. You do not have a sinful nature.

Those are the things that he's been saying. And he said therefore because of those truths don't let sin rain in your mortal body.

And then in the next verse verse 13, neither yield you, your members as instruments of unrighteousness, undecained, but yield yourselves unto God as those that are alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Let me just say about those two verses that when you start talking about not yielding yourself to sin, the very fact that he says don't yield yourself.
