I grew up with a single mom so she worked a lot of jobs and at 17 I wrote a note

specifically to my little brother and I took enough sleeping pills to take out a horse.

And I remember locking my door because I didn't want him to find me.

And the enemy just kept accusing me, like, see what she did, do you see what she did?

And I just remember Jesus saying, well, she's mine.

After that, I threw up everything I took

and I had no side effects.

I was completely normal.

Three months later, I met a friend who

disciples me in relationship with God and he confirmed that God had indeed rescued me that night and he called out that a suicide attempt that I didn't tell anybody about and he prophesied that God would take my life

and do something great with it. After that I came to Karis and I love my time as a

student at Karis because the teachers really facilitated the Holy

Spirit in a way that we can receive it ourselves. I started to learn more of

who I am in Christ and why am I here and the Lord just

started revealing purpose and we're starting to reveal truth to where I've received

freedom in those areas. So the love of God saved me for myself and he brought redemption and

restoration to my life and he wants to do the same thing for you. So let them do it.

Kalesha is now just such an awesome young lady, but you know she was contemplating suicide because she didn't know who she was and what Jesus had done for her.

This is what Karish does. It changes lives, and we are in the process of building out our campus so that we can

accommodate more people just like Kalesha and we need people to help us.
