Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm beginning a brand new series.

I'm teaching on the old man is dead.

And you know I have never just made a teaching on this specifically.

Now I've got this in my Romans edition book.

I cover this also my living commentary.

I teach verse by verse through these things.

And I've referred to this many times just in passing.

But the Lord woke me up at four o'clock this morning.

I was thinking you know when I went to bed about what I was going to teach on television.

And the Lord woke me up and just said that this is so important that people get that their old man is dead and gone and non-existent.

There's a lot of people that use the terminology about our old man is dead but they believe it resurrects every morning.

And therefore they identify that they still have a fallen sinful human nature.

And I'll tell you that is detrimental to Christian growth.

And the Lord just really laid it on my heart that this is something that I need to teach on specifically just this one point

and make the applications to our life because this is essential in my life.

This is one of the great truths that really turn my life totally around.
