Today we have a special interview Marvin Olasky conducted with theologian and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President, Albert Moeller.

Now, you may remember last season began with

the Mueller interview, but that one took place in 2015. This one occurred more recently,

and it didn't happen at Patrick Henry College. Here now to discuss the interview with me is

Marvin Olasky. Hi, Marvin. Hi, Jill. Well, give us the contacts for this interview.

Well, he's on our board of directors. We had a staff retreat in October in Asheville, North Carolina,

where our offices, and he came there and we talked about world's approach to Christian journalism.

Something else that makes this episode distinct is that you won't be the only one

asking the questions.

I was happy to see that our reporters like to ask questions.

So after I talked with Al for a while, the reporters asked away.

So did you just sit back and put your feet up and...

Sat back and enjoyed our young reporters asking very good questions.

Well, that also means this episode will be a little longer than usual, so we want to get right to it.

But first, did anything stand out to you in this conversation we're about to hear?

Well, I'm impressed that he is both a good talker and a thoughtful person.

In my experience, the two don't often go together.

There are people who can talk about all sorts of stuff, but really don't make a whole lot of sense. On the other hand,

there are people who are studious and thoughtful, but tend to talk very slowly. He is able to speak

quickly and articulately and thoughtfully. It's a rare combination.
