Would you turn please this morning to the book of Peter?

We began last week on a new series talking about the offerings of the Lord.

And I believe it is the direction of the Lord.

I'm excited about it.

Did you sense some quickening last Sunday?

I tell you, I did.

I believe we're on the right track.

So let's release our faith for this morning and go further and look at 1 Peter the second chapter.

First Peter, the second chapter, and the fifth verse.

Well, let me back up to the fourth verse.

Says to whom coming as to a living stone,

disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious.

You also as lively stones, or living stones,

are built up a spiritual house and holy priesthood to offer up

spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

We are made alive in Christ.

We're not a bunch of dead rocks we're living living stones cemented sealed in place in the building of God the house of God his house is a living house. Amen. And we're not just here

to hold the wall up. But we have numerous services and occupations in this house. And he mentions

one of the main ones. We are also a holy priesthood. We have to go back to the law

to see what the priesthood was and what it was instructed to be and designed to do. And I'm

understand a big part of the priesthood was what?

Offerings, right?
