Hello, everyone, and welcome back to part two of occult feminism, the secret history of

women's liberation.

My special guest, Rachel Wilson, is here with me, and we are going to get into the second

half of her great book on feminism.

And I got so much interesting feedback from a couple things I said in the last show.

One was about voting and how it was such a struggle to earn the right to vote and how can I throw it away.

And I don't want to participate in

this democracy and I'm like yeah no I don't want to how dare you think about how many times

have you voted for somebody and you felt betrayed when they're like every time maybe every time yeah yeah

can't think of a time that I haven't really right and so you vote and it goes one way or the other

and then so the people that uh one their person did not end up fulfilling any of the promises that they promised.

And they just feel kind of stupid like, oh, why did I vote for him?

And then there are people like, well, I told you so.

So.

And then another thing was like, how would you know if that person's, you know, son was a crackhead, for example, like now we

there's just so many variables when it comes to choosing leadership like that. And I think

maybe at the local level, it would make a lot more sense, you know, electing your sheriffs

or your governor

or your mayor or things like that. But when it comes to federal elections, I just think that

you can never know to give some one person that much power. Yeah. It's kind of crazy to me.

Yeah. And that doesn't even like take into consideration the corruption of the system in general and how it doesn't really ever work the way that it's supposed to work and all of that. But you're right. It's like it's hard enough to pick a spouse. Like how am I supposed to know if a person I've never met based on, you know,
