If you would turn with me this morning in the scriptures, the wonderful scriptures, to Romans 16,

Romans 16, we've been on the subject for a few weeks now when I've been teaching,

called the obedience of faith.

I'd like for us to go further into it today.

The last part of Romans 16 and verse 26 says now is made manifest by the scriptures of the prophets according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.

Everybody say the obedience of faith.

Say it again, the obedience of faith.

Once again, the obedience of faith. Once again, the obedience of faith.

The obedience of faith.

Faith and obedience are tied together.

And I think sometimes people talk about, well, believe in God, believe in God, I'm believing God, and they look at obedience as a separate category.

But no, your faith is shown by works, James said.

Faith without works is dead.

And what kind of results does dead faith produce?

Dead faith won't get you healed. Dead faith won't get you healed.

Dead faith won't get your bills paid.

Dead faith won't get you out.

It's only living faith.

What is living faith?

Living faith is faith a fully persuaded heart that is expressed in action.

And the key to miracles is what Jesus' mother said to the people at the wedding feast.

Whatever he says to you, do it.
