Here's what's happening today in America. Close to a deal, known to the Secret Service, unprecedented, chemical tank, and the closest to finish ever. It's all coming up, and Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, we might be getting closer to a peace deal with Iran. It seems like the two main parts of the deal are that Iran hands over their stockpile of enriched uranium and open up the Strait of Hormuz. We don't know the details yet, but one U.S. official said,

we're going to do a deal where they will open up the straight in exchange for us lifting the blockade,

and they will agree in principle to dispose of the highly enriched uranium.

Marco Rubio reiterated the ultimate goals that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.

The Secret Service shot and killed an armed man who opened fire at the White House on Saturday evening. The suspect was a 21-year-old from Maryland. He walked up to a checkpoint

around 17th Street in Pennsylvania Avenue, around 6 o'clock, removed a weapon from his bag, and

began firing at the officers posted there. Secret Service officers returned fire,

killing the suspect. He was transported to a hospital. He later died at the hospital.

And a bystander was struck as well. We don't know if it was hit by the, by a bullet from the guy

or from the Secret Service. No Secret Service members were hurt during the incident. The president

was in the White House at the time. The 21-year-old was known to the

Secret Service. He had a stayaway order from the White House put in place back on July 11th of last year,

and he was arrested just the day before this shooting, attempting to get into the White House,

and passed a security checkpoint. Somehow he was allowed back on the streets. Officials in Orange
