But first, New Poll show Americans mostly split down party lines on the country's response

to the pandemic.

Monmouth University, finding Democrats, have been more personally affected while Republicans

drastically favor reopening the economy now.

47% of left-leaning voters say they know someone affected with COVID compared to 37% of conservatives.

That's because more liberals live in big cities like New York.

When asked how fearful they are about the illness, 60% of Democrats said very 25% of Republicans

and 38% of Independents feel the same way.

The voters are also more optimistic about the economic recovery.

80% of GOP supporters are hopeful America can reopen the country soon compared with just 53% of liberals.

Some of them don't want a quick economic rebound for political reasons.
