But first, the Supreme Court affirmed some presidential powers yesterday by saying that

President Trump does have the ability to fire independent regulators.

Rebecca Slaughter, she was a former Federal Trade Commission member, her firing was upheld

by the Supreme Court.

She warned that the justice is

allowed for the possibility of abuse of presidential power. This applied to over 20 independent

federal agencies, but they're part of the federal branch. Chief Justice Roberts said, although

it is up to the Senate to decide whether to confirm those with whom the president would

prefer to work, neither Congress nor the courts may saddle
