Here's what's happening today in America. Donald Trump once again, under formal investigation,

most adults fear for their safety. A new poll shows Pete Buttigieg beating Joe Biden.

A majority blamed the federal government for the looming recession. Also ahead, it is getting

worse at the southern border. But first, according to the Washington Post, Donald Trump is being

investigated by the Department of Justice for something pertaining to the January 6th riot.

Now, you would think that the Washington Post, which botched the Russian collusion fiasco, would be a little

skeptical here. And the other media would be a little skeptical. But no, today on the CBS morning

radio news, they're all over Trump, and I haven't seen any evidence at all that would

lead to a criminal conviction. However, if there is evidence that surfaces, I will report it honestly.

Researchers at one poll say 52% of the American public now fear for its safety.

That figure rises to 75% for those between the ages at 25 and 34.

Daily anxiety caused by rising crime, of course, and increased violence on public transportation.

Court of adults plan on relocating to improve their security situation, one in ten,

now use anti-anxiety medication to get through the day.

Wow.

Polling from the University of New Hampshire shows Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg,

who has done absolutely nothing, narrowly beating Joe Biden in the Granite State.

70% of Democrats there back, Buttigieg, followed by 16% of prefer Biden. Elizabeth Warren and Gavin Newsom

are tied in third place at 10% each. According to the real clear average, President Biden's

approval rating now at as low as point, 35%. Survey from Monmouth University in New Jersey

finds six and 10 voters believe the federal government is directly responsible for the poor economy, which it is.
