It's all coming up, then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, Senator Lindsey Graham passed away on Saturday. It is now up to the governor of South Carolina to pick a replacement for his seat, up until the end of his term. Now, Graham's term happens to end this year. He just won his party's primary for reelection just a couple weeks ago. So it's a quick vacancy.

There will be a special election in the middle of August to find a new candidate to run in

November.

But who's going to fill the seat today?

The president offered his suggestion.

He said I recommended to Governor Henry McMaster, Lindsay Graham's wonderful sister,

to serve as interim senator from the great state of South Carolina.

This would be a fabulous tribute to Lindsay who loved her dearly.
