Senator Lindsey Graham has passed away at the age of 71. The president said, Senator Lindsay Graham,

one of the greatest people and senators I've ever known is dead. He was always working.

It was a true American patriot. Lindsay will be greatly missed. So sad, President Donald J. Trump.

The president said later in an interview on Meet the Press, I just can't believe it.

He was like a member of the family to me. It's very tough. The vice president said,

Lindsay Graham came from humble beginnings and became one of the most powerful lawmakers

in the most powerful nation on earth. His story was a fundamentally American one.

Lindsay grew up in a single room in the back of their family owned bar and

pool hall. Both of his parents died when he was 22. His sister was only 13, and he adopted her.

Senator Mitch McConnell yesterday released a picture of himself for the first time in a rehab facility dressed sitting up.
