Welcome to the commentary magazine daily podcast.

Today is Monday, May 10, 2021. I am John Pudhord, the editor of Commentary and I have

an announcement to make. The announcement is that commentaries annual roast, I believe

this will be our 11th roast, is on. We'll take place on Monday, November 22, 2021 in New

York City. This is one of the, I, I'm saying this even though I am the master of ceremonies

and therefore should be considered a biased speaker. This is one of the highlight events

in the conservative world. People adore it. It's an evening of high jinks, laughter,

marimen and incredible good fun. And we will be providing you with details about how

you can come, how to buy tables, how to buy seats in, in times to come in, you know, weeks

and months to come. And really, if you haven't been, you should, if you have been, you

got to come back because we are all going to be together in a ballroom. I'm guessing

we're going to be unmasked because we're going to talk about why I think we're going

to be unmasked a lot sooner than people seem to think we're going to be unmasked in

some quarters. And the Rosti is our own Rabbi Mayor Solovacic, commentaries, Jewish commentary

columnists, perhaps the leading voice, intellectual voice in America on issues of religion, faith

and the founding and the American experiment, a hilarious guy on his own, an absolutely

maddening person as he is about 12 years old. He has a Rabbi's ordinance. He is the Rabbi

of the oldest synagogue in North America. He is the, he has a PhD from, I don't know where,

I can't even remember where, in American history, maybe it's Princeton, I can't remember.

He has six children, his wife is an assistant US attorney, their kids are incredibly well

beat, this is why I hate him, his kids are so like, he has six kids and they're incredibly
