Welcome to the podcast. You are here today to talk about how women, especially, but also men,

0:06.4

can step into their power and rise above fear when it comes to the topic of aging.

0:12.6

But to do that, it is so, so important that we destroy, eviscerate old beliefs, ideas that are holding so many people back and you start off

0:26.0

with the big one in your new book, which is fantastic, unbreakable. Let's dig into it. And that first

0:31.8

belief is aging means decline. There's nothing I can do about it. Why is this belief so destructive and why does it hold so many people, especially women, back?

0:45.7

You know, our brains will believe what we tell it. Right? Our brains, if we tell our brains, oh, I feel terrible today, our brain will believe that. But if we say,

0:55.0

despite feeling terrible, it's going to be a great day, I'm going to feel good, I'm maybe into

1:50.7

But I believe that it starts with believing that we can.

1:55.4

And then our behaviors will follow.

1:57.6

I think I was reading a statistic that almost 3,000 women every day are entering into

2:04.6

menopause. Does that sound about right? Yeah. If we're going to be very centric in the United States,

2:10.2

although I realize people globally are listening that 80 million people are women over 40 in this country. They are all very close to perimenopause and

2:23.5

menopause, because when you think about it, we're birthed, right? And then eventually we all die.

2:28.9

In between, if we live long enough, everybody born with ovaries, everybody will go through menopause, whether it's
