The Denver Nuggets, they are about to start the last stretch of the season.

The Nuggets are coming off of an all-star break at least everybody except for Nika Liyokos and Jammal Murray.

Jamal Murray and Niko Liyokos, thankfully at least got three days to have off,

including travel, obviously on Monday to get back to Denver or do whatever they

needed to do.

But I got to tell y'all, this is go time.

This is the opportunity for the team.

This is the opportunity for the Denver Nuggets.

This is the opportunity for everybody just to get the ship right.

It doesn't mean everything has to be perfect, but there needs to be an expectation set

that we're going to do the very best we can, and it starts at the top. Y'all know what time

joining you for the first time since last week. You all, I have been in Los Angeles. I was at All Star Weekend in L.A. And there was so much going on. I'll share a little bit about some of my

experiences here in a second. But I just want to get into all these Denver Nuggets things we need

to talk about, man.

This team, they got an opportunity in front of them.

And I think even though they're missing players still, there is a path for them to come back and be just as good as we hope them to be coming into the year.

The reason that I'm saying that is that when I'm looking at this Denver Nuggets team, and you look at the way they played over the last seven games since Yokos came back. And you got the uproar. When Yokos came back, they beat the hot clippers who were 16 and three at the time in the last 19 games, 122-109. And then they played versus O KC. Just wasn't the greatest game of all time. Obviously, Yokic's second game back from an injury. Jamal Murray obviously dealing with the things he dealt with had 12 points, I believe, in this game. Peyton Watson at 29, and then they play versus Detroit. They lose a clutch game to Detroit. They shouldn't have lost. Yokich wasn't good in that game. The team struggled to get defensive stops. And a lot of things that just did not go right for them in that game. Jalen Pickett was starting. He didn't contribute at all.
