But the NRA originally started as a nonpartisan, non-political organization focused solely on providing training for marksmanship and gun safety.

But over the years after infighting and an increase in gun control legislation in the United States,

the mission and actions of the group have

certainly changed. They have become famous for their controversial opinions and

their even more controversial lobbying efforts.

I do feel like that's going to be kind of obvious

We're millions of average honest Americans.

For every color, creed, faith, and occupation. We're American from every

walk of life, but we're united in our belief in the Second Amendment that keeps our families

safe and our country free. In the beginning, the NRA started as a non-partisan organization with the primary goal of teaching

marksmanship and providing training facilities for soldiers.
