Hey, this is Craig and welcome to this week's episode of the full 60.

This week, we have a very special episode.

I would say a unique episode that came to life.

The genesis of it came to life when I was trying to figure out my awards ballot,

voting for the heart and the Norris and the Calder.

This was, gosh, a month ago now.

Um, and was, I thought I had a no-brainer with the Norris.

I'm like, you know, initially before I really dug into the research, was like, oh,

this is John Carlson and was ready to move on. And then the more I dug into it, you looked at the numbers, and you spoke to people in hockey, you said, this isn't that easy. Like, this isn't an open and shut case. And was having a debate and it was like, you know, it would be fun to have this debate on the podcast and only not,

who cares what I think?

Like, I don't want to do it.

Let's have teammates of some of the top contenders do it and state their case.

And thankfully, we got three players to agree to do it.

And I think it's going to be really good.

I'm really excited about it. Nick Benino of the

Nashville Predators states the case for Roman Yossey. James Reimer of the Carolina Hurricanes

states the case for Jacob Slavin. And Brendan Dillon is fantastic. Only played, I don't know,

10 games or so with the Capitals before the pause,

but had the perspective of going from San Jose, which has great, or has great defensemen like

Brent Burns and Eric Carlson, to then playing with John Carlson. And we give him the cleanup
