Hello my friends welcome back I'm so glad you're here it's time for the morning

mindset my name is Kerry Green and I am here to help you get your mind aligned

with the truth of God by examining the scriptures and taking out a little

point of application for today it's important that we focus on the word of

God every day to get our minds aligned with God because we wake up in kind of

a default mode where we're thinking about us and the pressures of life and the

stresses that are going on and we need to get that reset every single day so

that we can stay aligned with the truth of God and give him glory in our lives

let's go we are looking at the book of Acts chapter 17 we're looking

today at verses 10 through 15 and we're kind of following along right now it's

three guys primarily who are mentioned the Apostle Paul his friend Silas and

his disciple Timothy and they're going throughout the region of Asia Asia Minor

looking for opportunities to share the story of Jesus Christ we're picking up

in verse number 10 it says the brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away

by night to Berea now let's pause for a moment if you didn't hear yesterday's

episode these guys have been sharing the message of Jesus in a town called

Thessalonica and they were basically run out of town because the people there

did not all want to hear about Jesus and they were angry they were trying to

bring charges against them and they escaped as you hear in this verse so

continuing on when they arrived they went into the Jewish synagogue now these

Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica they received the word with all

eagerness examining the scriptures daily to see if these things were true many
