Normally, we don't talk to former politicians on this programme, but this week's guest is one, Sinic Clegg. We're talking to him now, though,

not because of what he wants did, but what he does now, as Mark Zuckerberg's right-hand man,

as President of Global Affairs for Meta, the company that provides Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

You might well have thought you'd seen the last of him

when he stopped being Deputy Prime Minister

and then he went on to lose his seat in Parliament.

It's certainly an awfully long time

since that phrase, just four words I agree with Nick,

was uttered by Gordon Brown in a leader's debate back in 2010,

a phrase which will surely be in the first paragraph of his obituries when they're written.
