Hello and welcome back to the what we said podcast. My name is Chelsea and I'm JC.

And today our episode we are going to be reading the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for you.

We're going to be reading your stories. Hopefully this will lift your mood and make you,

you know, restore your faith and humanity. But before we get into that, we definitely want to

touch on and talk about the Black Lives Matter movement. We are recording this on a Tuesday.

What a day is it? Wow.

The Tuesday.

Tuesday June 2nd. So while we're talking about this, there are riots and protests and things going

on in this country to stand up against police brutality and racism. And I think for most people,

it seems like a no brainer like racism is bad. Obviously, I think we've all felt like that.

But we kind of wanted to talk about our experience and kind of what we've learned even just in the

course of one weekend and how much we have like how our eyes opened basically and why it's important

to us like specifically from our mouths. We want you guys to hear because obviously a lot of people

are posting about it, you know, feeds are kind of being overtaken by it. But we want to tell you why

like it's so important to us specifically. Yeah. And I think it's really important as white people

in this time to understand that we do have privilege. I used to kind of think white privilege was

like I didn't really know what that meant. Yeah. Because like what do you mean? Like I thought we

all have the right to vote. I just didn't understand. And you know, looking back on that, I'm ashamed

of that. But I think it's important to evaluate yourself. So I think it's important with our voices as
