I have had hell on with my doorbell.

Oh, how upsetting.

Your doorbell, no one's got a doorbell quite like yours.

No, although, let me just set the scene, Porto-Soo.

Our house built in 1903.

It's arts and crafts, original, you know, lots of original features.

The door, big, thick, chunky door.

The doorbell is a circle that sits under the letterbox in the middle of the door.

And when we moved in, there was a, clearly there'd been issues in the past.

Yeah. And the previous owner had put a laminated, almost sign that says turn above it.

So you know to turn it. Otherwise, you can see when people, well, you know when people

have got issues because they're knocking on the original glass. But an engraved sign would have been nicer than something stuck on laminated.

Well, the sign has slowly come away.

Right.

And so I, and we don't have like a ring doorbell or a nest doorbell or anything high-taker.

I would actually quite like one because I still, if I'm in the

outbuilding, I have to literally sell a tape a sign to the door. Be like, help yourself round the side gate.
