people are asking right now which is does Nicky Haley really have broad

electoral appeal or is this just something that we're hearing from her

campaign and from the media and actually I should add from Democrats which

should make you suspicious right off the bat. John Davidson from the Federalist joins us now.

John, can you set up here what you broke down in this piece

and the argument that's being made for Nicky Haley

and why you're not really believing it.

Yeah, exactly Grace as you just mentioned there's this idea mostly put out there by

Democrats and the Haley campaign that she's this crossover figure who can bring more

Democrats into the Republican tent. She can appeal to the coveted independent

voters who are the Republican nor Democrat

and that she is the way to beat Joe Biden

in November because of this broad electoral appeal

that she's supposed to be asked. I think that's totally a lie and it's not
