In the NFL's eyes, six games was not enough.

It was not near enough.

The NFL is seeking an indefinite suspension.

It was not happy about six games.

In fact, I was told it was very, very disturbed

about the judge's decision.

And now the NFL will seek to impose, once again,

its own form of justice.

When former federal judge Sue L. Robinson

handed to Sean Watson a six game suspension last week,

the reaction for many was clear.

It wasn't enough.

Robinson's really acknowledged Watson's egregious behavior,

which had been chronicle in dozens of accounts

of sexual misconduct, but said she was bound by precedent

of punishment in previous NFL cases.

Now, the league is appealing Watson's suspension,

hoping for a stronger punishment,

while setting a new precedent for how the national football

league handles cases like this going forward.
