So we want to get back to the NFL quarterback carousel, which has been

spinning at a high rate this postseason. Unusually so. I mean, usually you get to the NFL

quarterbacks, they rarely change like they're changing right now. And so Adam Schaefter

reported before the offseason that there was, or he speculated that as many as 18 teams could have

new quarterbacks.

I thought that that number was outrageously high.

But when you look at it, depending on what happens around draft time, he might not be that

far off.

And so I just want to recap some of this.

And because obviously this all relates to the Patriots who have resigned Cam Newton,

albeit for relatively short guaranteed money, only $3.5 million in full guarantees for Newton.

So they could easily pivot and go in another direction there, be in the draft or a trade around the draft.
