Thinking ahead to September 10th, 2026.

I think that's the Thursday night in September when the NFL season will kick off.

It'll be a late week one.

Yeah, the first Sunday of the NFL season next year, September 13th, that makes the kickoff game in Seattle, the home of

the defending champions, September 10th. Here are the possibilities. Now, NFL nerd on X is a follow

for me. He claims that the Rams and 49ers, which it was announced, I think after our show on Friday,

Max, the Rams and the 49ers, the NFL announced will be the Melbourne game. He says it's week

one. I didn't, I don't think the NFL announced that it was week one. They haven't announced

a specific date yet, but if he has some information, well, then he's coming out with it.

Now, what makes sense is, right, Australia's summer is our winter, so they'll probably play it in cooler temperatures.

So I would imagine they'll play that game earlier in the season rather than later in this season.

And that's assuming that I know that Melbourne Cricket Club is an outdoor stadium.

I don't know if it is or isn't.

But he said take the Rams and 49ers, the division opponents out of the equation for Seattle,

because they're going to be a week one Melbourne, Australia matchup.

You know, one of the reasons you do it week one is that that gives them plenty of time to

travel to go over there to get acclimated for the game.

I wonder if their by week would be week two coming back.
