Hey, Dan Graziano. The NFL calendar is coming at us fast and furious. We have at least one coaching

job spoken for. We've got the Senior Bowl coming up in a couple weeks, the combine, the month

after that. If you could choose an analogy, a metaphor to describe the rush around the league

to fill those open head coaching jobs? What metaphor would you choose?

It's as if a bunch of people showed up to a store on the morning of Black Friday,

a day after Thanksgiving, and the electricity was not working,

and no one knew what they wanted.

Very often it's the same teams, right?

It's the Jaguars, it's the Raiders.

The bears have been there.

Right, they know how to get to that parking lot.

Kind of fumbling around and not entirely sure what they're after, which is why they keep coming

back so often.

It's a mess that teams have cycled through these coaches so much the last couple

years that like the pool of candidates is dwindled and that's not making anything better

for the teams that have a hard time figuring out what they're looking for. Yeah, so some of

these usual suspects are fumbling around in the dark trying to find the guy who was going

to lead their teams to the promised land.

But boy,

that metaphor doesn't really reassure a lot of the fans of these teams.

No, nor should it.
