I am joined by ultra-running filmmaker Dylan Harris for a special conversation. Dylan is the director

of an upcoming film called The Chase, which recounts the legendary six-way battle for victory at the

2024 Kokadona 250 between Jeff Browning, Harry Subbertus, Michael Versteeg,

Joe McConaug, Arlinglick, and Michael McKnight. We've had almost all of these guys on the pod before.

They are some of my favorite characters in the sport, and it was so cool to see how this movie

was able to show what the confluence of their personalities

and stylistic approaches would look like at a premier multi-day race like Kocodona.

This conversation with Dylan starts and finishes with some discussion about the feasibility

of making more content like this for the sport of ultra running, which was awesome.

But even more so, we spend the bulk of the time in the middle of this one going deep on each

of the characters in a way that I think adds another cool layer of perspective to the production.

Anyways, I know I'm being long-winded here, but another cool aspect of the chase is that there is a film tour attached to it.

And in fact, if you are local to the Salt Lake City, Park City area, the show is coming to town on March 30th at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
