Hello, all you theater fans out there.

This is Cody Derrick's and I'm here with Next Best Theater where we are discussing our predictions

for the 78th Tony Awards, which are awarding the best in Broadway for 2024 and 2025.

So we are here to do our predictions for this upcoming Sunday's award show.

We're going to do all 26 categories.

That's right.

Most places only do the top awards.

No, no, no, no.

We do all the categories here, next best picture, always, and forever.

And this is no different.

So we're going to give you an exhaustive rundown of what we think is going to win the awards of this year's Tony Awards. Dan, Lauren, we've been doing this for a while. I feel like we usually do pretty decently. Would you agree? If we negate last year where we all totally got best musical rock. But yeah, we're pretty good. We're going for overall average, not just the top

award. All of all the good stories count here. I feel like overall we do a pretty good job.

Now, just to give a rundown, those of you who listened to our episode giving our analysis of these nominations, you heard Dan Moore and I discuss what we saw.

Just to give a quick rundown again of those shows, myself from this season, despite living in Chicago, I got see quite a bit.

I saw Death Becomes Her both in Chicago and in New York.

I saw maybe happy ending.

I saw O'Mary.

And then I saw Sunset Boulevard and Gypsy.
