There was some drama at the U.S. half marathon championship in Atlanta.

So four runners in the lead were mistakenly led off course by the lead vehicle.

Oh, no.

Yeah.

So they were winning the thing.

They were winning.

And whoever was driving the lead vehicle didn't know the actual marathon.

In the USATF, like USA Track Field, they are blaming the Atlanta Track Club that they were responsible for the lead vehicle.

And that mistakes happen.

Well, like, obviously you would follow the lead vehicle.

Like, but that's horrendous for those poor runners.

Of course, and it costs Jess McLean, the one who was in the lead at the time,

the win as well as $20,000 in prize money.

Here's Molly Bourne, who ended up coming up in first place. I don't really feel like the U.S. champion just because of the whole situation. That went down at the end. So, yeah. Those girls were like pretty far ahead of me, so I was pretty sure I was coming in for. But I saw Carrie make the wrong turn. And they, like, corrected her, like, fairly quickly compared to the lead track.

And then the directors were, like, go straight.

So I guess I was the only one who went straight at that turn.
