Hello, I am Andy Zaltzman. I'm going to give you a peek into the writing process for the

news quiz this week. I'm flicking through the newspapers ahead of this week show, trying to find

if there are any news stories that could work as a metaphor for the state of the Starmer government.

Here's a weather news story. Unrelenting gloom and misery looks set to continue for the foreseeable
