I would actually call it a Scott Boris special. Scott Boris leaks information to his guys.

One of his guys is John Heyman.

And that little bit of Met catnip obviously involves the New York Mets and Juan Soto.

So if you are listening on Sunday morning or listening live on a Saturday night,

here's what you need to know.

The New York Mets, according to John Heyman, I mean Scott Boris.

No, according to Scott Boris, I mean John Haman.

The New York Mets and Steve Cohen had a, quote, very detailed meeting with Juan Soto in California.

According to Scott and John, Mets owner Steve Cohen led a contingent of high-ranking

med officials to meet with superstar free agent hitter Juan Soto Saturday in Orange

County.

All early signs suggest the meeting went extremely well, And the Mets remain viewed as one of the

favorites for the services of Soto, who helped the Yankees reach the World Series in his initial

season in New York and is the top priority of both New York teams. So a couple of things.

When does a meeting go badly? Or if a meeting does go badly, when do we hear about that within days of the meeting or within hours of the meeting?

I remember Lamarcus Aldridge was a free agent in the NBA many years ago in the prime of his career.

And it came out well after the fact that his meeting with the Lakers didn't go that well
