What was your favorite part of this book to write, Devin, as you were making your way through this deep, dark journey through the soul?

I was thinking that maybe it would be writing about any Chavez's catch or maybe it was writing about the 69 World Series.

But if I'm being honest, the most fun thing to write was trashing all your other crappy teams in the prologue.

That was really fun.

There was something just like processing about it, cathartic about it, and reassuring to me

that my team really is better at losing

than all of yours.
