All right, we are live and the New York Mets are watchable. I'm calling it. I'm calling it as I see it. They're watchable. I'm not saying

they're good. I'm not even saying they're average. I'm saying I can watch them. And listen,

it's not always going to be a fun watchable because they'll just throw the ball around the

diamond, give up inside the park grand slams. You never know what kind of chaos.

We've basically just been living on drunk baseball for a week now,

but it's better than one run on three hits that, you know,

everything stops by the fourth inning.

Watchable baseball.

We've gotten to watchable baseball because even the people that are playing

aren't, for the most part,

shitty utility or platoon players that Stearns is trying to fill the gaps with.

We're getting young guys that you can believe in, either because they're awesome or because

they're so young, they haven't really burnt you yet.

So, Kevin, we are watchable.

I think, Clem, I think we are the battered

rescue dogs. I think that they're watchable because of what we've lived through. This is not

watchable for a vast majority of sports fans, Clem. That's... I mean, guys, it's, it's, uh, we're not even in June yet. We're not even, it's basically more old day weekend and I'm already going with watchable as my spin zone. So I'm hoping I don't have to keep spin zoning because I don't know if I have a full season. You're going to spin right off this goddamn earth, Clem. You're not wrong.

You do bring up a good point about the kids.

There's just something about watching new kids come up.

They might flame out and they might go.

They might even catch lightning in a bottle and not be that good.
