On this episode of Newt's World, on May 30th, SpaceX Falcon 9 and NASA launched a

manned space mission.

The launch brought a new era of space exploration to the Space Coast of Florida.

This historic mission was the first manned launch from US soil since the conclusion of

the Space Shuttle Program in 2011 and the first manned commercial launch in history.

The recent mission is the first to illustrate that the future of space travel will be driven

by American innovation and entrepreneurship.

However, the Chinese are also heavily invested in space, whose support and funding by the

Chinese Communist Party.

We are beginning the next great space race.

It's the United States versus China, in a competition to be first to create systems

for commercial space travel.

The first to establish outposts on the moon and ultimately the first to colonize other

planets.

Never has the time been more important to discuss the future of space exploration and the

importance of space as an infrastructure investment.
